Concealer Color Chaos

Hey bloggies!

If you're like me you're completely confused when you're in a makeup aisle and see all these different colored concealer sticks in green, yellow & white.  What do all of these concealers do and why am I painting my face like a rainbow?  Well, I tested all of them out and did some research.

I absolutely love the green concealer stick.  Green reduces redness and is perfect for any acne scars or current acne that has any type of reddish tint.  I use this every morning when I apply my makeup due to some acne scars.

Yellow corrects dark circles.  If you need 10 cups of coffee every morning to wake you up, you should apply some yellow concealer under your eyes to eliminate the tired "I hate waking up in the morning" look (who likes early mornings anyway?).

White covers any imperfections such as scars, non-reddish acne scars, whiteheads and blackheads.  I used to think that white concealer covered everything including red marks and dark circles under the eye, but if you use the white under the eye it'll appear too bright, same with covering red acne.  It'll almost give your red-toned acne a glow, which no one wants their pimple beasts to glow- am I right?  We want to cover those nasty beezy's!

Bloggies, I hope this post helped with understanding the different uses for the three different concealer shades.  They always say beauty is pain, but why does it has to be so friggin' complicated?
