Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation Review

I was SO (yes, all caps there) excited to try this foundation I couldn't even contain myself when I purchased it and used it for the first time.  I've had it now for about four months and I've had an on and off relationship with this product.  I'd heard so many great things about this foundation and YouTube beauty vloggers were ravin' (HA!) about it everywhere.

The product claims it's a 3-in-1, meaning it's a primer, concealer and foundation. It sounded perfect because buying those products separately could cost you a nifty dollar (what?), but the fact this product was at my local Target for $10 sounded like a steal.

Let's see what the product claims to do...

  • longwear formula to last all day- Lasted a majority of my work day (nearly 6 hours)
  • primer, foundation and concealer in one- Can't really argue with this one...
  • flawless, smooth finish- Did even-out my skin tone and diminish the appearance of my cystic acne scars
I was really impressed with the foundation in the first week I wore it. It would actually keep my oil truckin' face somewhat matte for a couple hours before I needed to blot, which is saying a lot. The only thing I didn't like about it in the first week was that it made my pores appear larger than life. I'm not sure why, but my pores looked like legit pools or something- like you could just take a dive on in there and swim a few laps.

Why am I feeling so-so about this product? Sadly, it made my sensitive skin break out like no one's business! I always have a couple acne cysts on my chin, but I noticed that my face would begin itching toward the end of each day, and when I washed my face and took the makeup off, I started to notice small red circles. I didn't think much of them since I tend to get breakouts a few times a month, but they started to appear all over my chin/cheeks.

IF I weren't allergic to this product I would definitely repurchase as long as I could find a good pore minimize. I would recommend this foundation to those of you who don't have sensitive skin!
