Best Drugstore Primers

I think I mention how oily my skin is in every single post (so attractive), but with the summer months officially upon us, I thought it'd let you know about some affordable drugstore primers that actually work in controlling oil and making your makeup last longer throughout the day. I've tried each and every one of these products, so I'm able to give an honest review.

No7 Beautifully Matte Make Up Base is my favorite primer, high-end or drugstore, because it actually does keep my oil-rigged face (what the?) matte for most of the day. Bonus points: it's hypo-allergenic for sensitive skin and it contains salicylic acid which helps treat blemishes. I would only recommend for those with very oily skin as it has a very matte finish.I get mine from Target for $9 which is an awesome price considering I'm only on my second bottle for the past 2 years, so it definitely lasts for a while and is worth the money.

L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing Cream is almost up there with my No7 primer. I chose this as my second favorite because it contains SPF which is good, but that also means it tends to make your face just a tad more oily, which is why I find myself reaching for the No7 primer more often. This is a bit pricey too- $24 which is actually comparable to a few high-end brands. I would definitely recommend it for people with dry skin vs. oily skin.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer is a great primer for those looking to reduce the size of their pores prior to putting on your makeup, or even wearing it by itself. It's great at creating a smooth canvas for your makeup application, but I find it just doesn't make my makeup last as long as the No7 primer, but it's honestly an amazing primer. I'd recommend for those with combo-oily skin.

Let me know if you've tried any of the above primers and let me know which is your favorite from the drugstore!
