Five Signs That You're Probably a Cat Lady

source
The struggle is real. Being a cat lady in your mid-late twenties isn't sexy. We all know it, but the true cat ladies could care less what others think. I'm the president of the "under 70 cat lady club" and I'm proud of it. Are you a cat lady too? Read below to find out the sure tell signs.

1. You can't go at least once a week without taking a picture/video of something your cat did that you thought was insanely adorable. They meowed at you? Aw. They did a flip? Cute. That may be cute and all, but you're blowing up other's Instagram feeds and they are getting tired of it. Let's limit it to every other week.

2. You can't see anything to do with Grumpy Cat and not "aww" at it. Whether it's the Cheerio's commercials, calendars, shirts, coffee mugs or this past VMA's, you just can't help but admire that     adorably sweet face! Also, you don't want to admit it but when someone talks about how "grumpy he is," you have to correct them by saying something along the lines of "it's a she and she's not grumpy, it's a genetic defect."

3. When you tweet, Facebook or Instagram your cat like that's all your life consists of and Instagram accounts for cat lovers like your picture or follow you, you're a cat lady. It takes one to know one. Yes, a Grumpy Cat account liked my photo and I was a little excited.

4. When your cat jumps on your lap or walks by you and shows you the tiniest bit of affection, you     can't help but squeal with pure joy because these moments are rare. I always make my husband look because he just doesn't believe it. It happens, trust me.

5. You having something cat-related in your wardrobe. Yes, we're in our mid-late 20s, but if we           want to wear a cat shirt, then darn it, we're going to! We are not ashamed.

If you've nodded your head in agreement to at least 2 of the above, pat yourself on the back my friend. You've declared your cat lady tendencies and have admitted it. Cat mugs, shirts, non-stop animal planet and kittens galore for you. Welcome to the club! Just don't end up like me in the picture above. It's a little bit too much. If you're a fellow cat lady, comment below!
