Last month I introduced a new series called "Let it Grow" where each month I'm going to try different combinations of "hair growth tips" that I research and on the 15th of each month (I realize it's the 16th, but the picture of my current hair length below was taken last night) I'm going to take a picture to measure just how much they're speeding up the average hair growth process. To read month 1, click here.

The picture from month 1 was taken on September 15, a few weeks after a haircut where I was talked into how damaged it was so it needed to be cut short, blah blah blah. The picture from month 2 was taken last night (October 15) and I must say I'm pretty pleased with the results I've seen!

I know the angle/lighting is off compared to month 1, but this IS the same shirt used to measure from month 1.
Last month my hair was at the 12" mark and now I'm nearing 13" ( I know it's not indicated on the shirt, but use your imagination). For month 1 I tried a combination of taking a 5,000 MCG Biotin supplement and using Macadamia's Healing Oil Treatment after each wash (every other day) to help keep my hair protected and keep my split ends tamed. My hair has grown a little over half an inch which is a little longer than the average 0.5 inches hair grows each month!

Hair growth tips I'm taking this month: Taking 5,000 MCG's of Biotin daily on top of using Lee Stafford's Hair Growth Treatment.

I'm very pleased with last month's growth, but I'm still trying to see if I can speed it up just a little more by trying out these so-called "miracle" products. I'll write another post in this series on November 15, 2014 to show you if the combination of these two products makes my hair grow faster than last month's combination.

Have you had a too short haircut and tried to grow your hair out? Are you trying to grow your hair longer? Are you also taking part in my growth series? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. I've been wanting to try that masque. Looking forward to next months results- love this series!

  2. That's really good for only 1 month! How does the hair masque smell? My hair seems to be at a point where it won't get any longer and I'd be willing to try that out!

    1. Hi Katie! SO sorry I'm just now seeing this comment! The masque surprisingly smells good! I've very pleased! You should give it a try! Do you take Biotin daily?
