InstaNatural's Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review

If you're familiar with my blog then you already know that I have insanely oily skin- I go through oil blotting sheets like I do water (I don't drink the required 8 glasses a day- that's cray. More like 4-5. Judge me.) So insanely attractive, I know. Along with oily skin comes acne-prone skin. Basically, my skin is a hot mess and I'm 26. What the?

My skincare regimen consists of a benzoyl peroxide acne spot treatment followed by a salicylic acne topical treatment and finally a moisturizer. Although my skin is oily, it tends to get dry around the parts of my face where I apply the acne treatment and can sometimes flake. I usually steer clear of anti-aging serums because of my skin type. Having sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin, I'm always skeptical of trying new products on my face because I have a tendency to have an allergic reaction to most facial products. But when InstaNatural sent me their Hyaluronic Acid Serum to review, my skepticism on serums has changed!

Before I get too far into the review, you're probably wondering what the heck Hyaluronic Acid is, like myself when I received this serum. It's basically a natural hydrator for the skin and helps the skin to retain moisture, thus aiding in diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also improves skin texture and brightness and helps you achieve an overall vibrant, healthy complexion. The serum also contains a blend of antioxidants Vitamin C + E + Green Tea and Jojoba Oil which has been known to clear up acne and is non-comedogenic, meaning it cannot clog pores and is good for those with sensitive skin. Phew, that's a lot of info, but when I read that this serum contains natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals, I thought it'd be perfect for my oily skin.

The packaging is beautiful- the serum comes in a blue bottle with an eyedropper for application which I prefer so you can't spread contamination with your fingers like most anti-aging serums/lotions.

The serum is a gel-like consistency and dries within seconds. There's no oily residue that's left behind and you won't be stuck waiting 30 minutes to be able to apply your makeup while waiting for it to dry. And surprisingly, I have not broken out while using this serum and it's been a couple of weeks. This is unheard of for me! It's the perfect addition to my skin routine and I'm so glad I finally found an anti-aging serum that works for my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. I haven't used it quite long enough to see a drastic difference, but my skin is already appearing to be brighter and isn't as dull (which is usually the case when using acne products on the skin). I can't recommend this serum enough!
