Bettering Myself in 2016

Resolutions are so cliche. We hear endless resolutions to get healthy, implement a new workout regimen, be better people, etc. Well, I'm hopping on that cliche boat and AM going to make a change for the new year. What are my goals?
  1. Blog more. I got so caught up in other things outside of the blogging world and really let my blog slip last year. I was doing well with reaching the most page views I've ever received, including sponsorship's from various companies, but I let it all go. I see my blog as a creative outlet and I don't want anything to prevent me from enjoying it.
  2. Work out more. I am already a healthy eater, so no need to implement a new diet plan (except maybe limit-not cutout- the ice cream intake. Flashback to not my finest moment). I workout 1-2 days a week, but I need to up the ante by working out at least 3-4 days a week.
  3. Call my loved ones more often. I'm guilty of not wanting to talk on the phone for long periods of time. I prefer face-to-face conversations, but that's simply not possible with my family living on the other side of the country.
  4. Find more hobbies. Blogging? Check. Golfing? Check. Other than that, I have no idea what hobbies I want to pursue. Possibly reading, painting, drawing, who knows? 
  5. Get out of my comfort zone. I was proud of myself for taking a hot yoga class last weekend. I'm usually scared to take part in group workout classes, but I made myself go and I enjoyed it! I need to do more things like that. Possibly join a small group at church? Leave me some ideas!
So there you have it. I've made myself a cliche by saying I will make these things happen in 2016, but I really will! Something just feels right about this year.
