First Impression: Stick Foundation

Foundation sticks have been everywhere lately. I've been wanting to try one for quite some time but have always been hesitant for a few reasons; it doesn't seem very sanitary to rub the same foundation all over your face, color selection seemed harder and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I've seen high-end foundation sticks from brands like Makeup Forever, Lancome, Tim Ford, etc., but let's be real—who wants to shell out $50 for foundation?

This foundation claims to give you shine-free skin with its built-in anti-shine core that's supposed to provide you with medium coverage and a matte finish. I picked mine up at my local Walmart for $5.70 (strangest number of life). Find out my thoughts in my latest video below (in FULL HD*)as I wear this foundation for 10 hours as I go throughout my day!

Have you tried a stick foundation? Did you like it? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Agree with you 100%, I have this product and only use it when I'm either at work (and need to touch upon my makeup) or I'm taking a trip to the beach and don't intend on wearing makeup (I pack this just in case I "need it" after swimming.) Other then that I hardly use stick foundations.

    1. YES- it's definitely not a go-to foundation, but it does the job for quick, light coverage. Thanks for reading, Sierra!
