How to | Fill In Eyebrows

Remember the days when no one filled in their eyebrows? Nowadays (golly, I am getting older) everyone is filling in their brows and brow pencils, pomades, gels, fibers- the list goes on- are everywhere! I didn't start filling in my brows until a couple of years ago and the difference it makes in my makeup is incredible; it completes my makeup and ties everything together.

It's super simple to fill in your brows! I know how intimidating it can be, trust me. It's almost as intimidating as your first time ordering a Starbucks drink: "what the heck is a tall, grande and venti and what are all of these extra things? Screw it, I'll just order a standard hot coffee." #TRUTH. Trust me- once you've done it a couple of times it'll get easier and will take no time!

First thing's first- figure out what type of look you want to achieve: do you want your brows to look as natural as possible, do you want them to be super full or do you want to simply frame and shape them?

Once you've decided, follow these next easy steps to achieve fuller brows in just a few minutes! You'll need 3 products: spoolie brush, eyebrow pomade (I prefer BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Waterproof Brow Pomade), angled liner brush/eyebrow brush.

Step one: brush out your eyebrows so they're not all over the place.

Step two: dip your angled liner/eyebrow brush in the pomade. Be sure to wipe the sides of your brush in the pan to remove excess product.

Step three: fill in your brows with a light hand. Be sure to do baby strokes to give the appearance of hair versus long strokes that can make eyebrows look overdone.

Almost done! Look at the difference between a naturally filled-in brow versus a bare brow- they look fuller and so much better!

Step four (last step): brush out your brows to evenly distribute the product. This will give them a more natural and effortless look.

Voila! Easy, natural looking brows that takes less than 5 minutes!

Do you fill in your brows? If so, what's your method and which products do you use? Let me know in the comments below so we can all help each other out!
